Needle felted 63cm/25' OOAK (one-of-a-kind) art doll/sculpture I made in 2014. I exhibited the doll and used it in different projects at several occasions.

I made the sculpture shortly before I realized that I had gender dysphoria and needed to transition medically. At this time in my life, at 19-20 years old, I started becoming increasingly interested in gender and androgyny in my art as well as in my personal life. This doll is one of the first examples of this recurring theme in my art practice. 'Deviant' was my early way of expressing my longing for an existence beyond categorizations.
